Each year to kick off the Fall Festival, Pioneers Medical Center puts on a 5k race called the Scrub Shirt Classic. This race includes, a 5k run and a 5k walk. This year was the 4th annual race. As a volunteer, I get to see the whole thing from start to finish. It is a lot of fun, getting everything together and enjoying the race. There about 40 people in the race this year, not a huge turnout, but hopefully next year gets bigger. The weather was awesome, nice crisp fall weather warming up later in the day.
